Gabrielle (aka Gabby) has a BS in Biology-Biomedical Science from Lynchburg College in Virginia and has 10+ years of combined experience working in professional healthcare settings as well as in home nanny work. Gabby brings with her extensive knowledge in newborn care from her career as a nanny and her Doula trainings. Gabby is passionate about the birth field and supporting and educating families on the amazing journey to parenthood. She believes strongly that postpartum care should be the norm.
She received her Birth Doula training through Bastyr University and is working toward her certification through PALS as a Birth Doula. She received her Postpartum Doula training through CAPPA and is certified through NAPS. She has birth and postpartum experience as well as specialized training through Perinatal Support Washington in perinatal mood disorders.
Gabby enjoys hiking and camping and moved to the Pacific Northwest from the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia and is happy to call this area home. When not studying and working, Gabby likes to spend time with her son, husband and their animals and tries to get outside and enjoy nature as often as she can.
